30 Days 30 Videos are over!

Well, my challenge is over. I fell a little short, but I must say that I was happy with the results. I made 24 videos in 30 Days. I had a lot of fun with the quiz show "do you know the answer" and I may make that it's own video podcast. We'll see. For now, I still plan on making more no clue quickies, but I will take a few weeks off. I will continue to post some material through the end of the year and then we'll see what else we can come up with. Hopefully, someday soon, the videos can be a little more planned out with a better production value. Thanks for watching and if you need to catch up, check out the site or go to the website to subscribe.

I'm off on vacation starting tomorrow with the family in Florida. I plan to hit Disney World and relax in the pool and hang out with my family. Later.

first week of no clue quickie

Well, the first 7 days of the all new no clue quickie web series has officially ended. I've tried out a few ideas so far, some funny, some not so funny. But when you're getting new videos every day, they're not all gonna be winners. It's putting me on a good schedule too to try and carve out time to do stuff. That part I like a lot. This week, I tried a simple animation, put up some tales of procrastination, debuted a taunting game quiz and had some fun with action figures. Hopefully, you check it out, you never know what tomorrow brings.

The website is new and improved and now contains links to subscribe to no clue quickie through iTunes. You've got to check it out. Drop me an email and let me know what you think.

it's finally here....all new web content! from no clue productions

Well, it's finally here! I have updated the website and it looks pretty good I think. I have also produced the first episode of my all new web series (video podcast) called no clue quickie. It's a series of short videos that are just silly mindless entertainment. I had a little trouble tonight with my new video camera and some editing with Final Cut Express stuff, but I was determined to still debut the first episode tonight.

I've decided to try and make a bunch of new episodes this month. I'm launching what I'm calling 30 Days 30 Videos. I want to make 1 new video a day for 30 straight days. Can I do it? We'll see, but I got #1 out today. I have shot #2, which would've been #1 and as soon as I work out my issues, I'll post some more content.

So, check out the updated site and the new videos. Leave some comments and let me know what you think. Thanks for checking in.

video camera bites the dust

It finally happened. I got a good run out of the machine, but today my Canon ZR10 bit the dust. This is the camera that we shot chase: cut short with and that I used for all my personal video camera usage and editing etc. It was a tough day, but I figured it was time to move on. I hadn't been using it as much and I've been thinking of getting a new camera so I can try to do some HD work etc. I ordered a new Canon HV20, which is still mini DV, but it is capable of HD. I needed a mini DV camera, because I'm working on some new videos that I haven't transferred to my computer yet to edit. I should probably get a bigger hard drive for video too, but I'm going to wait on that for now.

Good bye ZR10. Rest in peace. Here's a few more photos. Sorry some are out of focus. I was a little distraught.

Forgive me for not posting in awhile, but I've been super busy at work, traveled to see my family a couple times, been a little lazy, my niece came to visit me and I suffered a slight case of the blahs. But I'm back and working on new video content. I know that I've said that a ton of times in the last year or maybe more for that matter, but I'm serious. I hope that you watch it and find it entertaining. It may not always be a high quality video that I churn out, but it will be something. My camera is due to arrive this week, so I hope to give it a spin and fire up Final Cut Express and see what happens.

until then, enjoy the blog. I'll be posting a bunch in the next few days.

no clue productions site overhaul and new content coming soon

The no clue productions site hasn't been updated since last year. That's all about to change soon. In a recent post, I spoke about Jon's new indenation pop podcast and the kick in the butt that I needed. I have been working hard on a new site design that has a bit more pop and just looks more polished. I had been doing all my own hand coding of my own html for the last few years which has gotten too tedious. I'm not interested in making new site content like that anymore. I've been looking for easier ways to update and make the site look more polished. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money or time learning dreamweaver or go live. I think I've found a good solution to all my issues with Apple's iLife.

Since I love the apple products, I started to play more with iWeb in the last few months and I think I'm getting a lot better. Since it's template driven, I wanted to use the templates, but make them more my own. I think I have finally started to figure out some good ways to do that.

I'm pretty excited about the new look. I'm anxious to get it out there. It is still a few weeks away before going live, but here's a preview of the new look. I am also working on some brand new content. Look for the new content to launch the same day as the new site. It should be the start of a bunch of new content from no clue productions over the next few months. I look forward to getting it all out there soon.

Keep coming back for more updates. Later.
