it's almost the end of july?

I can't believe it's almost the end of July. I've been traveling a lot again to visit family. I've been attempting to slow down the work patterns, but now that I'm used to this pace I find myself needing to work more.

I'm saving up a few dollars trying to pay off credit cards and getting ready to buy a new computer. I know i've been talking about it for, I don't know - 2 years?, anyway, I'm finally going to do it soon.

I'm very slow and methodical about almost everything I do, because I like it to be done right. But it also slows down the output.

Podcasts are now available on iTunes. Hope you're checking them out. They are quite cool. TONS to choose from.

It's been a busy summer. I should write some movie reviews soon. I haven't put up any since May. UGH! I need to make a list to keep pushing forward with my moviemaking goals, since they are getting lost in the shuffle of my life.

But here's some updates:

I have some more stuff shot for a short video which I hope to release by September online. I'm looking into all kinds of VOD RSS type feeds, rather than direct downloads. I'm just looking. This next movie will be a direct download I'm assuming though.

I submitted a script to the Blue Cat screenplay competition. I was very encouraged, since I got some good comments. Of course, I didn't win anything and they had lots of "problems" with the script, but all in all, I'd recommend it and I wil submit again in November when they open up a new competition. The best part is that you get a critique afterwards. Mine was honest, direct and very helpful I found. I will use the critique to revise the script.

I'm still working on my 2nd full length script and I will strive to have it done by the end of September. I need to make some time to sit down with it. Then the plan is to break right into a third script. The first two are more comedic and romantic in nature. The 3rd and possibly 4th script are quite different. One is a sci fi story that my brother wrote a short story on. The last is an outright thriller, that I think if I write it right, I could make that my feature directing debut. It's all still in the thinking stage, but I told you I was methodical.

Thanks for reading and visiting indenation.com. Talk to you later.
